The softest alpaca yarn comes from the first shearing of the lambs. We collect the wool that comes from its neck, which is the softest, so it is available in limited quantities. Sugar Baby Alpaca is soft, fine and fabulous for delicate or luxurious knitwear. Perfect for babies and children because alpaca is naturally free of lanolin which could be annoying.
